Hi, my name is Anna Kholod, and you are visiting my blog, “Ramblings of Staggering American Ukrainian”. This blog is about my experiences growing up a first generation American from Ukraine. From trying to survive my elementary classroom without knowing a word in English to figuring out my identity while tottering on a no-man’s land strip between two cultures-these experiences have had a major effect on my life. I hope this blog will inspire those with similar experiences and inform (or perhaps entertain) anyone else who might be interested.

Ramblings of a Staggering American Ukrainian 
Thank you for having stopped by my blog today – now I have the chance to follow your own blog, and that from what looks like the very beginning! In that case, I also happily extend a warm welcome to the world of blogging! I hope that this helps you to sort out some of the confusion you’ve written about already – the blogosphere is a great place for sorting all sorts of things out, and for discovering all sorts of new things about yourself and others 🙂 I have also grown up in a somewhat multicultural environment – I live in a seaport town in Germany, which is also a multicultural experience within itself!
